March 9, 2009

King5.com reports that Jimi Hendrix's 1969 Fender Stratocaster guitar and the snow globe that was on the top of Kurt Cobain and Courtney Love's wedding cake are among the unique pieces of memorabilia that will be on display at the Hard Rock Café that is opening in the heart of downtown Seattle this summer. The 14,0000-square-foot Hard Rock Café Seattle will open at 116 Pike Street in July.

"After searching for the perfect location for many years, we are proud to bring Hard Rock Café to Seattle," said Hamish Dodds, president and CEO Hard Rock Café International. "Seattle is famous for its rich music history and live music scene, and we feel Hard Rock is a perfect complement to this vibrant city."
